Kangaroo E-Card Final Animation
This is the final Kangaroo e-card cleaned up and colored in with backgrounds.
The only disclaimer is that this version is a kind of "director's cut".
I omitted the necktie to keep it gender neutral.

Second Place out of a record setting 182 entries for the 11 Second Club competition.
Guitar Poser and Burger Miester from Patrick Tuorto on Vimeo.
This is an assignment I did for Flashpotatoes that clinched second place out of a record setting 182 entries on Feb's 11 second club animation competition. Unfortunately, there's allot of choppiness in the video quality. Hoping to find a way to upload better videos soon.
Every now and then I will get an assignment that I'm genuinly proud of, one such is the bit of animation below.
Badly Drawn Roy "Re-Post" from Patrick Tuorto on Vimeo.
"Badly Drawn Roy" is a character assignment I got at Animation Collective Studios. He is born to real parents in Ireland and has to deal with being a 2-D character in a real world setting.
All the animation was done in Flash using a Wacom Tablet.

Early test experiment for my short
The first scene of both characters were animated on 12 field animation paper, then cleaned up and imported into Flash. The second shot of the boy shaking his head in disgust was animated digitally in Flash using a stylus, and wacom tablet.

"Hooked on Fishing"
This is my VERY first attempt at animating in Flash. And it's the only short in which I completed within a few days. The animation is very limited, but entertaining. Enjoy!!!:)

This scene was animated both on paper and in Flash MX. The first shot of the Sand Man was done digitally using a wacom tablet. The boy was animated traditionally on 12 field paper then imported into Flash. This was not easy, I had to clean up the drawings with a marker in order to create vector-based images for coloring. All the backgrounds where done in Flash.
